What’s happy gas?
Happy gas, also called nitrous oxide sedation, is a safe, odourless, and colourless gas that is inhaled to reduce anxiety, eliminate pain, and create a sense of well-being. Many patients experience a light, euphoric feeling and, in some cases, even a little giggling—hence the name “happy gas”!

How does happy gas work?

Step 4: During your procedure, our dentists adjust the sedation levels as needed.
Step 5: Once treatment is complete, the sedation is quickly reduced, and you recover within 5 minutes—with no lingering drowsiness or “hangover” effect!
